Tamir supports people with Developmental Disabilities and people with Autism to live their best life by promoting individuality, independence, dignity, and community inclusion while embracing Jewish culture and values.
“Tamir has helped us to show that people with developmental disabilities can achieve our goals just like our brothers and sisters in our community.”
“My involvement with Tamir has reinforced my feeling that all people have something valuable to contribute when they are given respect as well as a space for it. I think everyone could benefit from trying to look past first impressions and allowing people to demonstrate their value in their own way.”
