Tamir Heroes: A group of generous and kind people who believe in helping our most vulnerable citizens
Tamir is funded primarily by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. Though we are very grateful for this Government support, these funds do not provide us with all of the resources we need to ensure Tamir participants can enjoy quality of life and live with dignity and respect in our community.
Become a Tamir Hero
We want to invite you to become a Tamir Hero. It’s very, very simple and it’s also very, very important. We need to find funds for significant needs that there is no government support for.
For a minimum donation of $500, you will become a Tamir Hero and join a select group of generous and kind people.
A gift of $500 may result in, for most people, a tax credit of $210 — the net gift is 60 cents a day.
