Children's Services

For 5 years now, Tamir has offered Keshet for Kids Summer Day Camp programming to children in our community with disabilities. For the second year in a row, we were also pleased to offer a March Break edition of Keshet for Kids. As always, the fun was contagious!

The premise for the camp is simple; pair the kids up with high school or college aged ‘shadows,' help them register in a community camp of their choice and provide a coordinator to help integrate the children into the camp successfully. As the program has evolved, we have seen that some of our campers also enjoy the option of internal programming, offered on site at Tamir, where the groups are smaller and the schedule is flexible. No matter the environment, friendships, new experiences and a great set of memories is a guarantee!
