Becoming a Friend of Tamir helps to ensure developmentally disabled people supported by Tamir are able to lead full Jewish lives in a safe and secure environment and provides funds to expand services to individuals and families in need of support in our community.

Here are some examples of how your Friendship Campaign dollars help Tamir support people with developmental disabilities.

• Expand services for children enrolled in Keshet for Kids Summer and March Break Camps
• Provide for Passover Seders in our group homes
• Help participants receive speech and language therapy
• Supply new winter coats to participants in need
• Provide Shabbat dinners for Judaic Outreach participants

The Tamir annual Friendship drive kicks off every spring as part of our annual newsletter. Becoming a Friend of Tamir is easy. You can:

• Complete the reply card enclosed in the newsletter mail out and send it back in the envelope provided
• Call the office at 613-725-3519 and ask for Anita. She would be glad to process your donation over the telephone
